THE SUMMARY
Kiba's main character, Zed, a 15-year-old boy who lives in a place called Calm. Being frustrated by his daily life which he always involves in a mess or trouble, still he feels that somewhere out there should have a place where he can live more fully. So he's seeking for the place to try his possibilities.
One day, a mysterious wind invites him to dive into a space-time crevasse, seeking the answers that might be there. Riding on the wind, he is transported to another world where is there magic users called "Shard Casters" have been fighting against each other endlessly using "Shard" which is a crystal of magical power.
With the power of the Shards, the Shard Casters are able to use spells and command monsters called "Spirits". Fascinated by the power, Zed aims to become a Shard Caster. However, he still doesn't know that there are a mighty spirit with the power to influence the world's future residing within his body. His Spirit, Amil Gaoul, appears to be a wind-based entity that uses two large, white-feathered wings as weapon that has been proved capable of slicing through other Spirits as well as humans!
From there, he meets the sage Jiko and Roya in Templer. Soon he discovers that Amil Gaoul is one of the "Key Spirits" that when together with the other Key Spirits, can destroy or save the world. Oh yeah, there are a total of six Key Spirits: Amil Gaoul within Zed, Pronimo within Hugh, Sachira within Noa, Monardi within Sara, Jumamis within Mirette and Shadin within Sagiri.
Unbeknown to Zed, his best friend, Noa who often makes up excuses for Zed everytime someone tries to talk bad about him has also traveled to the new world as well. Now Noa and Zed become enmeshed in the ways of their new world, while growing into their new abilities. Throughout the series, Zed undergoes countless trials in order to find out who he really is and what is most important to him while Noa is being subjected to many psychological thus he becomes easily engulfed by darkness and forgets his initial desires.

Before I started watching, I thought it would be more violent, but when I was watching this anime, I found out that this series is being emphasized on morale values. Relationship, friendship and whatever is positive.. Still have some negative morale values shown in this anime as well. But still, the positive ones wins and overthrows the negative ones away after all in the last. Hehehe
And yeah, I really like this storyline as it is really meaningful and fantastic usage in every element in this anime. Whenever the character faces the situation, he or she would be able to manipulate the surrounding to win the battle. Wow, it reminds me of Final Fantasy VIII where people summon Guardian Force to battle. Hmm, some of anime have this similarity. Yu-Gi-Oh... Digimon... Pokemon... Kekkaishi...
Anyway, you should try watching this anime. Buy this anime now before it's getting late and would be unavailable for sale!!!
