The Flick of Superheroes!!

Seems like the season of superheroes has began after a certain time being... Last time was the Transformers film.. Ah or is it the Fantastic Four and The Silver Surfer film? Anyway, this year and the next year are awfully called the year of superheroes.. Hahaha..

IRON MAN (April 30th, 2008)

The Plot: Robert Downey Jr. stars as Tony Stark/Iron Man in the story of a billionaire industrialist and genius inventor who is kidnapped by the terrorist group called The Ten Rings and forced to build a devastating weapon for them. Instead, using his intelligence and ingenuity, Tony builds a high-tech suit of armor and escapes captivity. When he uncovers a nefarious plot with global implications, he develops a powerful flying armor that is advanced weapon capabilities his powerful armor and vows to protect the world as Iron Man.





THE INCREDIBLE HULK (June 13th, 2008)

The Plot: Edward Norton as Bruce Banner, the scientist who desperately hunts for a cure to the gamma radiation that poisoned his cells and unleashes the unbridled force of rage within him, a giant green monster under emotional stress: The Hulk is now a fugitve in South America. Living in the shadows-cut off from a life he knew and the woman he loves, Betty Ross, Banner struggles to avoid the obsessive pursuit of his nemesis, General Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross and the military machinery that seeks to capture and brutally exploit his powers.




WANTED (June 26th, 2008)

The Plot: James McAvoy as Wesley Gibson, 25-years-old employee who works in a cubicle, has found himself being chewed by his boss hourly and completely ignored by his disloyal girlfriend. After his father is murdered, Fox recruits him into the Fraternity, a secret society that trains Wes to avenge his father's death by following in his father's footsteps. He discovers this team lives by an ancient, unbreakable code: carry out the death orders given by the Fates, weavers who read individuals' destinies in fabrics produced by mythical looms.





HANCOCK (July 3rd, 2008)

The Plot: Will Smith plays as Hancock, a tortured superhero named Hancock who crash-lands in Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn. With great power comes great responsibility, Hancock has a great power and willing to save people but he always leave a mess after done it. Until the day that he saves the life of PR executive Ray Embrey, and the sardonic superhero begins to realize that he may have a vulnerable side after all. Facing that will be his greatest challenge yet and a task that may prove impossible as Ray’s wife, Mary, insists that he’s a lost cause.




HELLBOY II: THE GOLDEN ARMY (July 10th, 2008)

The Plot: The mythical world starts a rebellion against humanity in order to rule the Earth and awakens an unstoppable army of creatures. So now, Ron Pearlman as Hellboy and his team returns to save the Earth from the rebellious creatures. So now, along with his expanding team in the bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense they travels between the surface strata and the unseen magical one, where creatures of fantasy become corporeal. And Hellboy must choose between the life he knows and an unknown destiny that beckons hims.




THE DARK KNIGHT (July 17th, 2008)

The Plot: Christian Bale is back and dons on his Dark Knight armor as Batman, raises the stakes in his war on crime. With the help of Lieutenant Jim Gordon and District Attorney Harvey Dent, Batman sets out to dismantle the remaining criminal organizations that plague the city streets. The partnership proves to be effective, but they soon find themselves prey to a reign of chaos unleashed by a rising criminal mastermind known to the terrified citizens of Gotham as The Joker who's eerie grin makes him more dangerous than what he has yet to unleash.



Well, that's pretty many flicks of superheroes this year. Tomorrow I will watch the Iron Man film with friends ^_^ I will write a review after watching this. Tune yourself back to read my review!
