THE SUMMARY

Tactics follows the exploits of the young man with the ability to see goblins and other mythical beasts named Kantarou Ichinomiya. Ever since he was born he had the 6th sense to see the demons and others mythical creatures called “Oni”. When he was a little boy his friend Oni told him about the creature that is stronger than Oni called “Tengu”, it is the legendary demon-eating goblin. Since that story told him he dream to have a Tengu that will be his buddy forever. When he grew up he became a folklorist, who write books and article about Japanese folklore, but he also work as a monster buster secretly. In the episode “The Black Goblin Awakens”, Kantarou went to exorcise monster he was lead to a rural shrine up in the mountain where the Tengu, demon-eating goblin was sealed there. When Kantarou breaks the seal, he named the Tengu Haruka, in naming a Tengu it forces to be a slave of someone who gave name with it. As the fulfillment of Kantarou dream, Haruka became his partner in fighting the evil Oni. With his tengu and his kitsune, they solve mysteries, and help the yokai situation in Japan.

I like the mystery screen about Minamoto Raiko and his group of soldiers come in. Together with another formidable demon, Raiko and his attendants plot many plans to try and force Kantarou to cancel the name contract or make Haruka awaken his real powers, such that they would be able to capture Haruka and present him to "that person" whose identity is unknown. If the name contract is not canceled or if the master dies, Haruka's power would forever be restrained and he would not be able to be used by the antagonists. But unfortunately those antagonist did not success in their evil mission and Haruka back in his senses and go back to Kantarou. They start again and do their usual routine such as fighting evil spirit and saving people. So, this make me curious about who is Haruko's previous master because I saw his previous master alike as Kantarou.. Maybe is Kantarou's dad or grandpa.. :D

It is weird that Haruka love to wear a tuxedo after he released from his seal.. :P Maybe he hate to wear the traditional cloth that remind him to remember his past? Or he changed his personality since he wakes up from sleep..? Well, my friends said this is the somewhat unspoken love between Kantarou and Haruka. So, the underlying homosexual tension never evolves nor is mentioned by any character, it is evident throughout the series … until the end where their relationship turns sour..

But, we sure said this story is very good and get funny characters also give u laugh out!

Zero no Tsukaima

THE SUMMARY

Meeting our protagonist in this anime; Louise, a second year student at Tristain Academy of Magic where those who can use magic are either mages or nobles. Lousie however is terrible at magic and can never use it the way she wants to. Because of her current record, she is given the nickname "Louise the Zero" by her classmates.

Early in the school year, the second year students have to summon their familiars; this is considered a special ritual where a mage summons their eternal protector and partner. This moment, she summons up all her magic and gets Saito Hiraga, leaving her totally humiliated. Due to the rules of the ritual, Louise is left with no choice but have to accept Saito as her familiar. She then proceeds to treat Saito as any other familiar!

One day Saito challenges a disrespectful noble to a duel and during the duel, a sword appears in Saito's hands thus he obtains a mysterious power. With this power, he is able to defeat him in the duel. Together they face many mysteries and uncover unexpected truths including the nature of Saito's power and the truth behind Louise's inability to cast magic.

When I watched this anime, the first impression about this anime is that the setting appears to be very much a rip-off of Harry Potter's famed Hogwarts. But then when I watch this anime continuously, I found it is not very similiar... Just my first impression. :P But again, it's yes as it is much basically similiar to Hogwarts. A mage school.... And the world is wonderfully blended with such nice and soft colors that added with somewhat effects!

The characters in this anime are quite pleasure,often stuck to the humor and to relationship octagon, makes a full series of comedy. Satio just come from other world but he quickly become a likeable person at Tristain's! One who has a crush on him! One who goes crazy after him! One who becomes his rival! One who feel annoyed with him! Arr, all about him?! -.-" Those main characters in anime shares the common with Yuuji and Shana in Shakuga no Shana. Louise and Shana are both noticably fecrocious while Saito and Yuuji are both blindingly dumb!

Oh my! I don't know that there have 2nd season of ZnT: Futatsuki no Kishi; translated as "Knight of the Two Moons"! I must go to shop and buy this anime. Will do a review for you ya.

Yakitate!! Japan

THE SUMMARY

“Yakitate” literally means “fresh baked” and the word “Japan” is actually a pun: (ja-pan) “pan” means “bread”; freshly baked Japanese bread!

Azuma Kazuma isn't terribly clever, but he's got a good heart and great skill - at baking. Since childhood, he's been on a quest to create the perfect bread to represent Japan internationally. Now, he seeks to enter the famous bakery Pantasia, in hopes of reaching his goal. But plots abound...

Wow, this is my first time to watch this anime which is related with the bread, so it is really good story! Everyone should know what is about the bread because we always eat our bread on every breakfast, right? :D I think that Azuma is very genius when he was doing the bread with his different of techniques and always get the support from his trust friends; Kawachi, Suwa, and Kanmuri. Kawachi is very stupid but, he tried to help Azuma and his friends. Kanmuri and Suwa are very good at the making the bread but, they cannot beat Azuma.

They always show the different of recipes for bread. Sometimes, it provide the recipes - simple bread if you want to try it. I like to see the chapters 'Yakitate!! 25' - show different characters display during the judging are humorous and illustrate an aspect in Japanese food culture; in the culture food. For example, they have competition in Kyoto, mean Azuma and his friends have to think new idea to do new bread for Kyoto only. So, it’s enjoyable, fairly funny and well animated!

Black Lagoon

THE SUMMARY

Okajima Rokuro is a Japanese businessman…in a town full of Japanese businessmen. His normal day consists of social drinking with clients and being kicked around by his bosses. He finally gets a break though, as he’s sent by his company to the tropical seas of Eastern China to deliver a disc…only his boat gets hijacked by a band of mercenaries that were hired to steal it. “Rock” (as he is newly dubbed by his captors) catches the interest of the only female merc “Revy” as she thinks he’s worth a ransom, taking him hostage. However, the disc turns out to be more trouble than its worth, and complicates things both for Rock, and the mercenaries known as Black Lagoon.

This anime is mostly violent and blood scenes all go about..but, it is cool when they fight with the strongest assassin, killer, and others in many violent battle! There are six strongest women; maid, mafia, nun, dragon lady, etc..They never give up and refuse to die! O_O I think that this story is made between the moral question of right and wrong. It means that how they justify their beliefs in what is right and what is not, just as how existentialists believe that every person chooses their own values for their own subjective reasons..

Revy is very tough because she is very experienced with using the guns, so she is gunfighter! Rock is the simple-minded person..Rock's struggle for deciding whether he should remain with Lagoon Company; a criminal organization or return to his ordinary life of a law-abiding citizen. So, this conflict between Rock's and Revy's views on crime and moral is important. Maybe Revy will fell love on him? Who knows it? Haha. She loves to bully Rock..Pity him!

I think that it is not suitable for the kids who watch this because its about how the companies betray their own countries , betray their own employees and even discarding them as mere tools for their own greed. That people will do anything for their own lusts and desire ... killing , betraying , creating weapons and more of the violent ones..

If you like to watch this anime, it is better to buy DVD anime~ Or, you can enjoy to read the manga Black Lagoon.

Zatch Bell!

THE SUMMARY

Kiyomaro Takamine , a depressed dont-care-about-the-world guy, is now a 14 years old junior high school student. His father, Seitaro Takamine discovers an unconscious mamodo named Zatch Bell while in a forest in England. Zatch Bell wants to repay his good deed so his father sends the mamodo to be Kiyomaro's mentor. Unlike the other mamodo, Zatch lost his memory of the mamodo world.

Little does Kiyomaro know that Zatch is embroiled into an intense fight to see who is the king of the mamodo world. All 100 mamodoes have to find a master on Earth and duke it out with other mamodos until only one survives. Needless to say, Kiyomaro becomes Zatch's master, and through their many battles, Kiyomaro learns the importance of friendship and courage.

Now their adventure begins!~

I'm shocked that many people don't know about this anime when I asked them about it. -_-" So I decided to promote this anime on Makoto Raiku's behalf. =P He should thank me for helping him to promote..LOL. =D Anyway, I at least want you to know about this only.

Wow, it's another one of the best animes out here, as it has a very uniquely original idea in its characters, storyline and the elements especially the emotions and feeling within the battles. Not like any others I have watched so far. Action fully-packed, a few crazy humorous jokes and different styles and power of mamodoes! I sometimes without realizing myself for yelling out when the mamodoes launched the attack. =D

However, there are a little problems as well, which is that each battle whether internal or between individuals, the scene uses dramatic visual effects causing a bit difficult to watch what they are exactly doing!~ @_@ But it at least didn't ruin or distort the whole story. =D I'm much enjoying to watch their adventure. This story is really meaningful, you can see. Zatch is too naive and stupid kiddo but he realizes after an encounter with Kolulu and decides to goal all depend on becoming the kind king of the mamodo world!

Over all it is really worth watching. I want to watch this anime but couldn't find in each DVD shops. :( Anway, thanks to OneManga, I'm able to read this story. Here you go : OneManga: Zatch Bell! I believe you will enjoy reading almost every chapters!

Fate/ Stay Night

THE SUMMARY

Taking place in an ordinary Japanese town, Fuyuki City, it in fact has a big secret that is hidden from society. There has actually been a war going on in this town. Seven sorcerers known as "Masters" summon a powerful familiar called "Servants" and they all fight each other till the last one. The last one is said to attain the Holy Grain which will grant them a wish. Only a few knows when this War started and what the Holy Grail is, but the war was about to begin again this year.

Now it centers on the main character named Shirou Emiya who lost his parents in a fire and was adopted by a man named Kiritsugu Emiya who called himself a sorcerer. Admiring his step father and yearning to become an ally of justice, he has been training to become a sorcerer but he however, has no talent and could barely use one type of socrery. His step father has already passed away and today he is a sorcerer without any skills or knowlege.

That is until one fateful day, he was drawn into the Holy Grail War when he accidentally summons a female "Servant" knwon as Saber who said to be the strongest "Servant" at all. Not only her, there are altogether seven "Masters" who can summon their respective "Servants" from different classes known as Saber, Archer, Rider, Berserker, Lancer, Castor and Assassin. These 'Servants" must never reveal their real identity in order to hide their own weaknesses to the enemies.

Usually in online game or any game console, you can see many different classes available. Now this anime also made no difference as they are applied into as well. What is unique about this anime, although they themselves can be clearly shown what class they are, but they never could tell their own real identity. I wonder why.. If their real identity is exposed, they will be easily killed - still I doubt. Nevermind, I am thinking too much. =P To my amazement, all the Servants are from mythology except for Archer who is in fact Shirou Emiya from the future! O_O When he is summoned by Rin Tosaka, he lost his memory. about his previous or identity. Is it a coincidence? Or did he pretend because he is scared that his revelation of his true identity will distort the timeline? =P I like Archer and Gilgamesh because they are coolest characters. Archer is more swift and agile in battle while Gilgamesh can summon a lot of blades and weapons. That is amazing battle! Best to watch this anime! It is a great story indeed! I am sure you will love it!

Tales of the Abyss

THE SUMMARY

On planet Auldrant, fonons are essential components of all matter. Ages ago, the seventh fonon was discovered - controlling Sound. Its discovery led the humanity into chaos for if one could use the seventh fonon, one could learn the future. Wars over its new fonon raged across the lands, ending only when the miasma from within the planet covered the entire world.

BATTLE SYSTEM

The battle system is the most commonly similiar in all RPG... Also features many skills and spells such as types of Artes and AD Skills to unleash upon enemies. When a character levels up, a character will learn new Artes and gain stat bonuses which when a certain statistic has large enough bonus, the AD skills is learned automatically.

Field of Fonons (FOF) is whenever a character use a spell or battle technqiue that features elemental alignment, a circle will appear on the ground. It allows a character to perform a specific skill that corresponds with the FOF circle and the skill will be upgraded into a powerful version.

Oh my, it's my first time to play Namco's product! I don't know that Namco is also that capable besides SquareEnix. I mean Namco produce a good story like SquareEnix's! Though SquareEnix is indeed great in composing 3D character and landscape.. To my surprise, Namco is good in composing anime-style skit and certain anime sequence... Unlike SquareEnix, they used Computer-Generated Imagery (CGI) to produce a sequence.

I really like this game, it is very easy but can be tough as well.. A lot of fun. You can learn recipe and cook yourself. Just find the recipe and you will cook for your friends. Your friends will comment on your cooking skills - when it included the skit. =P I find 20 recipe over the world and still have not mastered all yet! @_@ Easy to get the recipe but hard to get the indregient because they are damn expensive!

Mini games are also existed. Mostly mini games will earn your characters title. I'm crazy. I was working harder in order to get titles. =P Some mini games are very tough indeed. There are also types of modes for this game - Normal, Hard and Unknown. I am sure that Hard and Unknown are stronger version. I almost completed the Normal mode, will try Hard and Unknown mode later.

There are also manga version available. Read OneManga: Tales Of Abyss or MangaFox: Tales of Abyss. It will entertain your pleasure of reading =D

Now I heard there are also anime version. It is just released in fall 2008 and have been broadcasting in Japan now. I am looking forward to watch this anime. =D

Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa

THE SUMMARY

Made a return from the 2005's "Madagascar", the New York animals - Alex the lion, Marty the zebra, Melman the giraffe and Gloria the hippo together with King Julien, Maurice,the penguins and the chimpanzees find themselves in the wilderness of Africa. It is where they encounter species of their own kind for the every first time.

While discovering their roots, they quickly find the differences between the concrete jungle and the heart of Africa. Alex reunites with his dad Zuba and his mother Florrie. Marty meets a lof of his "clones". Melman becomes the giraffe herd's new witch doctor and helps animals with diseases and wounds. Gloria gossips with the female hippos and soon meets Moto Moto as a potential mates.

Despite long-lost relatives, romantic rivals and scheming hunters, Africa seems like a great place...

Although I never watch the 2005's "Madagascar" before, but I found this movie is very very interesting story! =D I'm quite surprised that Alex is very "different" lion from the lion species! Despite the fact that lions are fierce beast, Alex loves dancing and entertaining the audience's hearts! His character is completely opposite to the real lion! The characters in Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa are really fabulous and amazing. They filled this story with a lot of joy and laughter!

I would like to give its movie a "THUMB UP". Not only me and my friends, the entire cinema also filled with loud laughter! The New York animals are also struggling with hardship in adapting themselves with the new environment in Africa but they managed to get us laughed again and again! Sure it sounds appetizing and interesting to you, isn't it? You ought to watch this movie or you will have regret for your entire life. =P

07-Ghost

THE SUMMARY

Setting up in a gothic fantasy world starts with the story of Teito, a former slave who is now pursued by the forces of the Barsburg Empire because of his exceptional ability to use a form of magic called Zaiphon.

Teito's discovery of his true nature and his subsequent quest for revenge involve him the affairs of the Gods themselves, as he find himself at the center of the conflict between Verloren, the God of Death and the mysterious "beings of light" sent by Heaven to oppose him: the Seven Ghosts.

At the 7th District Church he starts studying to become a priest, so he can gain a priest's advantages on his way to revenge -- a free room and board in any inn in the Empire, and less stringent inspections at borders. However, along his way he gets mixed up in the affairs of the Gods because of the Eye of Mikhail, and this eventually brings him grief.

Randomly choosing this mange to read without knowing what it is about, I somehow found it is amazingly a great story. This story has a combination of genres; comedy and supernatural, which is my most favourite ones. =D For some part of this story, I sometimes laugh out loud when reading the part that involves Frau and Teito. Frau is a bishop, despite on his holy occupation, he loves reading porn! O_O His bad behaviour always provoke Teito.

For some part of this story, this story is blending with dark tone. Ah, not like deep dark underground. I mean Teito's life is very sad and enduring a lot. He is very young boy but is a former slave. He must be tormented by his fearful life experience during he being a slave. Then for some reason, the empire wants to capture him but he escapes. His escape costs his best friend's life and his father's as well. Despite that, he is a tough boy. I wonder what is really his feeling inside his heart. For now, I won't give you any rating as this story is on-going. But what I can tell you is that this story is very good indeed. You ought to try reading. Visit this MangaFox: 07-Ghost to read! Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII

Hey you sure know about Final Fantasy VII the game for PS and Final Fantasy VII Advent Children the movie. Now it's about Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII which is a prequel to Final Fantasy VII and also the fourth installment in the Compilation of FFVII. But sorry to disappoint you, Cloud is the not main character in CC although he did appear in CC as well. =D

THE SUMMARY

Seven years prior to events of Final Fantasy VII~

The Shinra Company is rapidly increasing its influence through its monopply on make energy and military might. With the burgeoning city of Midgar on its base and symbol of prosperity, Shinra is on the verge of establishing absolute dominance over the world.

SOLIDER is a group of skilled combat operatives within Shinra. The elite within the group - those strong enough to be deemed SOLIDER 1st Class - are respected and idolized by the citizenry.

Zack is a young SOLIDER 2nd Class who aspires to become a 1st. He spends his days carrying out the assignments under the guidance of his 1st Class Mentor, Angeal.

During an operation in Wutai, a large number of SOLIDER members, led by 1st Class operative Genesis, go missing. The severity of the situation prompts Shinra executives to deploy even more SOLIDER operatives in hopes of bringing an end to the war with Wutai, and conducting an investigation into the mass desertion. The one assigned to mission are Zack, Angeal and the 1st Class hero who is known the world over as Sephiroth.

For Zack's cruel and fateful struggle awaits...

BATTLE SYSTEM

The battle system is knows as the Digital Mind Wave (DMW), and it revolves around a series of reels at the upper left corner of the screen which spin continuously as long as there are Solider Points (SP) left to consume. Each reel rotates independently and upon lining up three reels of the same character and value, a power-up is awarded to Zack.

Yay! Materia makes a return. =D Materia becomes fully customizable and in multiple varieties, including green and yellow. In addition, Materia can be fused together to enhance the Materia's abilities or to make an entirely new materia. The Materia the player has equipped determine the magic and special commands on the battle menu.

When I bought PSP, the first game I played is Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII. Oh my, beyond my expectation, this game is quite challenging. I thought its battle system is almost the same with the existing Final Fantasy but I was wrong. This is too difficult to play! Leveling up is too slow! =/ and I was sometimes furious. =D I don't know how to play with DMW. =/

Oh ya, the summoned creatures in Crisis Core are very beautifully animated in 3D form. O_O The 3D generated animation is almost like the reality. Oh ya, different to Final Fantasy VII, Summon Materia are no longer in control by the player and instead, are added to DMW. By special circumstances at random, the DMW slots would switch the summoning reels, where one of various summon materias are selected and performed by the player.

And there are side quests called MISSIONS as well. I was enjoying those MISSIONS until in the middle of game, the MISSIONS become tougher along with the stronger monsters. @_@ I only managed to managed 50% of the MISSIONS when this game comes to the end. The total of MISSIONS is 300! @_@ Hmmph, I will re-play CC again when I'm free, not now. Hopefully, I can complete all the missions when I play CC in future! Gam bat teh!!

Rozen Maiden : Träumend

Continue from Rozen Maiden yesterday =D and it is Season Two!~

THE SUMMARY

The story progresses when summer break arrives, Jun is busy studying on his own in the library in order to make up for time lost while he had confined himself to his home. Meanwhile, his Rozen Maiden doll, Shinku has been having troubling and disturbing dreams of late as the pain and sadness of defeating Suigintou is overwhelming despite the inevitable battle they waged before.

After waking suddenly from a nightmare, she finds Suigintou's companion spirit wandering. Decided to give a chase, she discovers that the seventh doll, Barasuishou has awakened. She now realizes that Suigintou's fate may very befall the other dolls for the appearance of the last doll signals the beginning of the end of the Alice Game.

Wow, in Träumend, there are several new non-doll characters introduced, included a riddle-spouting, tuxedo-attired anthropomorphic rabbit and two mysterious men who operate a doll shop. I never seen them in the first season before. I wonder what is their real role in Träumend and what is their relationship with Rozen Maidens. Curious!!! =D And also all dolls are reunited! The second doll, Kanaria finally appeared. Barasuishou, the seventh. Eh Kirakishou are also the seventh doll...Oh Barasuishou is the fake seventh doll... Hahaha... =_= All the dolls want to see "Father". "Father" is definitely a mysterious person who always stay alone in room and never shows up. =/ Thanks to Träumend, the Alice Game is the final battle and the winner will see "Father"! Wanna know who is the winner, go watch this anime and don't even ask me =P. oh ya, there are manga version existing. The story may be different. I'm not sure because I have not read it yet, jsut noticed it in MangaFox. Anyway, enjoy your reading @ Rozen Maiden.

Rozen Maiden

THE SUMMARY

The story brings up to a boy named Jun Sakurada who refuses going to school due to the deep trauma at school and have been locking himself in his room to spend his time by surfing the web and ordering anything that fancies him, but only to returns the items just before payment is due.

However, his life begins to change when he finds a website that requires him to put his order in his desk's drawer and a supernatural liasion will take it to the spirit world. Despite his disbelief, he follows these instructions and soon discovers that the letter mysteriously vanishes and a strange package arrives soon afterwards.

A strange package is a richly detailed wood case and it contains a strange realistic doll dressed in French aristocratic attire. Jun carefully winds the doll and the doll comes to life. She treats him as a servant of little worth, but over time helps him come to grips with his fear and in the life-or-death fights that soon tail her arrival.


What is Rozen Maidens and Alice Game?

The "Rozen Maidens are a collections of dolls created by a craftsman Rozen whom the dolls refer to as "Father". Their primary source of power comes from human as "medium" who wears a ring to symbolize his/her bond with the doll. A doll's power can be fully utilized and enhanced when her medium is present.

Alice Game is a lethal competition that promises the winner the right to meet "Father" by earning the title of "Alice", a girl of supreme beauty and perfection whose spirit lives inside of "Father". This Alice Game encompasses duels in which the dolls have to fight each other using their guardian spirits and respective abilities. The doll that loses the duel loses her "Rosa Mystica" and the Rosa Mystica is then absorbed by the duel's winner.

When I watched this anime, the first impression made from this anime is Rozen Maidens. Their face, body, expressions and figure movements are too much for the doll. But I somehow liked them because they look very passionately artistic especially for Shinku. O_O Look at their hair and clothes, those are very detailed illustration included the texture of clothes and lining on those hairs. I wonder how long the artist of Peach-Pit make this illustration. I'm sure they had taken a lot of time to draw them. =D

However, I'm sorry for the dolls. The dolls are very beautiful but why must they take part in deadly Alice Game? Really pity on them! I wonder whether "Father" is really a good person or not. I doubt what is his feeling when he sees the dolls fight each others only for him. If he really loves the doll, he should not establish this Alice Game. Because I believe, no one wanna destroy his own creation or handcrafting, right?

The characters in Rozen Maiden often involve in some incidents of humorous and funny drama! The dolls that for that most part seems to want nothing more than only to drink tea, destroy windows and draw on his floor with crayons. =D Pity on him for being bullied by Shinku. One of the twins, Suiseikei always got furious with the sixth doll, Hinaichigo and ends up bullying her.

Vote On Me, Please!
